CMDP is looking to strengthen their operations team with a Business Administration Apprentice in the 2026 intake. Based at the Chatham office, you will provide general services to the operational team who are currently using, amongst other systems Microsoft SharePoint ® and Bentley ProjectWise ® to store and manage project and non-project documents.

What will you be doing?
You will report directly to the Head of Information Management & Systems, and the responsibilities will include:
* Attendance at sites across the CMDP geographical region spanning Hampshire, Sussex, Kent & IOW.
* Review, management and audit of system stored documents for projects.
* Management of documents within ProjectWise (and other eDMS) in line with best practice standards.
* Championing of document management processes and systems within the project environment.
* Understand and adhere to legal, contract, Southern Water and CMDP document & information management requirements.
* Deal with enquiries efficiently and effectively.
* Carry out other project and non-project related activities as required.
* Provide support (where able) to operational teams and suppliers in use of the CMDP systems.
* Provide basic training for core systems across all internal & external stakeholders – in person, virtual, large/med/small groups & 1:1’s.
* Provide assurance to the Head of Information Management & Systems by ensuring that all records are maintained in line with expectations.
* Identify and implement areas for improvement and share best practice.

Requirements
* GCSEs for English, Mathematics and Sciences at grade 4 or above.
* Eligible to work in the UK.
* Have the ability to travel to the office and sites (some of our sites are difficult to access through public transport).
* A driving licence would be preferred.
* Flexibility – Successful candidates will need to be flexible and willing to spend time in other offices and sites.
