About the client: This NHS client is at the forefront of delivering high-quality healthcare services to the community of Leeds. Position: Corporate Procurement Lead
Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire
Salary Range:
1. <2 years' experience: £35,
2. 2-5 years' experience: £37,
3. 5+ years' experience: £42,
Key Responsibilities:
4. Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimise cost savings while maintaining quality standards.
5. Lead procurement projects, from initial sourcing to contract negotiation and supplier management.
6. Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to understand their procurement needs and provide strategic guidance.
7. Ensure compliance with procurement regulations and policies, promoting best practices across the organisation.
Qualifications:
8. Proven experience in procurement, with a minimum of 2 years for mid-level roles and 5+ years for senior roles.
9. Strong negotiation skills and ability to build effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
10. Knowledge of procurement regulations and best practices within the Public Sector.
11. Studying towards or CIPS level 4 qualified.
12. Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to drive change and influence decision-making.
