Your Responsibilities
As our Building Services Manager, you will play a crucial role within our Mechanical, Electrical, and Technology team. Your main focus will be on leading the design and implementation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems in buildings and other structures. You will ensure compliance with regulatory standards, project requirements, and client expectations.
Your day-to-day will include:
* Leading the design process for all building services, ensuring timely and budget-friendly project execution.
* Managing and mentoring a talented team of engineers and designers, fostering effective communication with clients, architects, and contractors.
* Ensuring all designs comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards while promoting sustainable design solutions.
* Identifying and resolving technical challenges during design and construction phases.
* Providing strategic direction to grow the team and establish collaborative, commercially effective relationships.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if:
* You are a Chartered Engineer and member of CIBSE or IET, with a degree in Mechanical Building Services or Electrical Engineering.
* You have significant experience and a high level of knowledge in your discipline, including proficiency in industry-standard design software like Cymap, Amtech, NBS, AutoCAD, and Revit MEP.
* You can demonstrate your ability to manage and drive a multi-discipline technical/engineering team, achieving sustainable performance against challenging business targets.
