Overview
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Refrigeration Service Engineer to join a well-established contractor working around the Birmingham and surrounding area. The company offers a fantastic package with great opportunities for future progression and development. All the work is commercial (no supermarkets) such as public houses, restaurants, clubs, convenience stores, etc. Services include cold rooms, ice machines, bottle coolers, under-counters, and related refrigeration equipment.
Responsibilities
* Provide service, repair, and maintenance for commercial refrigeration systems at assigned sites within the Birmingham area and surrounding region.
* Inspect, diagnose, and resolve faults in systems such as cold rooms, ice machines, bottle coolers, and related equipment.
* Travel to customer sites and work within defined regions; participate in on-call duties as required (1 in 4).
* Maintain accurate service records and ensure high standards of customer service and safety.
Qualifications/Experience
* Time Served Apprenticeship
* NVQ/C&G Refrigeration Based Qualification
* Approved Training Program
* Refrigerant Handling C&G 2079 or equivalent CITB certificate
* Full Driving Licence
Package
* Salary – Up to £57,000
* Paid door to door
* 50 hours per week
* 33 days holiday
* Ongoing training and development opportunities
* On Call 1 in 4
* Overtime
* Van with Fuel Card – Can be used for private use
* The work will be around the Birmingham and surrounding region
