What you will need • Must be a British citizen and able to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance • Proven experience in the specification, design, development and implementation of complex systems • Prior experience in multiple Systems Engineering roles across the engineering lifecycle • Ability to work effectively with project managers and cross-functional teams to meet technical and operational requirements Salary and rewards £57,000 – £63,000 What you will be doing • Lead the design, development, integration and verification of complex systems • Maintain traceability between requirements, design, implementation and verification evidence • Provide technical direction, review documentation and coordinate subcontractors • Support feasibility studies, technical reports and internal engineering processes Your experience • Strong understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle and associated principles • Competent in system architecture development using tools such as MatLab or Sparx EA and modelling languages such as SysML • Experience producing technical reports and presenting findings to internal and external stakeholders • Familiarity with UK defence frameworks, governance, policies and standards Where you will be based Portsmouth, hybrid working pattern Due to the nature of work at our client’s site, these vacancies are only open to British Citizens who hold or can obtain SC clearance.
