We are pleased to be partnering with a well-established organisation within the food manufacturing industry to recruit an Assistant Accountant for their site within Sleaford. This role sits within a busy site based finance team, supporting the Site Finance Manager. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their management accounting experience in a fast paced operational environment, with exposure to both financial reporting and business partnering. Key Responsibilities Support the preparation of weekly and monthly management accounts Take ownership of sections of the P&L, including variance analysis against budget and forecast Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data Report on key performance indicators and operational metrics Assist with capital expenditure processes and fixed asset register updates Analyse weekly costs, usage, and pricing, providing insights to support operational decision-making Support overhead reporting and cost control Work closely with the wider finance team and provide cover where required Contribute to process improvements and complete ad hoc analysis What We're Looking For Part-qualified (AAT/CIMA/ACCA) or qualified by experience Experience supporting management accounts Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Advanced Excel skills This role offers excellent exposure within a site-based finance function and is ideal for someone looking to progress their career in management accounting.
