Qualifications:
* Higher vocational training in a relevant discipline with 2 years post-related experience, or secondary educational qualification with 4 years post-related experience.
* Experience working in NATO or NCI Agency, familiar with organizational concepts such as the Enterprise Service Delivery Model.
* At least 2 years of continuous experience in Network Routing and Switching, with knowledge in one or more of the following:
Desirable Qualifications/Experience:
* Harris Radio 117F and/or 117G experience/knowledge.
* INMARSAT-based systems experience/knowledge.
* Experience working in an international environment with military and civilian elements.
* Knowledge of NATO responsibilities, including ACO, ACT, and NCI Agency.
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Maintain network and communications infrastructure supporting Allied Maritime Command and the UK.
* Manage databases, spreadsheets, and drawings for configuration management.
* Conduct asset management audits for systems.
* Diagnose and resolve physical and logical network issues.
* Travel overseas to install and support TACSAT, SEMARCOMM+/SEMARCIS, and connectivity to BI-SC kits as part of the Naval Force Operational Handover team.
* Support maintenance of ICT infrastructure, including HF & VLF systems and Cornet matrix switches.
* Assist in planning and executing project work packages.
* Monitor and report on ICT platform performance using appropriate tools and procedures.
* Install, operate, and maintain ICT platforms, supporting IT Service Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans.
* Coordinate with internal staff, external service lines, and third-party organizations.
* Respond to and resolve ITSM tickets.
* Stay updated on technological developments relevant to the role.
* Proactively resolve technical issues and advise on solutions.
* Work independently with limited supervision and deputize for higher-grade staff when required.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
