As a Support Worker, you'll play a pivotal role in empowering adults with complex needs to live fulfilling, independent lives in a supported living or shared house environment.
Quarriers is currently recruiting two full-time and one part-time Support Workers to join our services located in Paisley and Johnstone, Renfrewshire. In these roles, you will provide one-to-one support to adults with complex needs, including learning disabilities, Prader-Willi syndrome, epilepsy, autism, distress behaviours, and dysphagia, who reside in supported living or shared home environments. Your support will empower individuals to live fulfilling, independent lives.
The individuals we support have diverse communication needs, some utilizing alternative methods. Therefore, the ability to understand and adapt to their unique needs is essential to provide effective support in line with their care plans and achieve positive outcomes. As aSupport Worker you will also help and assist with cooking, cleaning, personal care and assist in taking part in activities they enjoy while ensuring the person feels safe and secure.
Full time - 39 hours weekly
Part time - 20 hours weekly
Early shift 7am/8am - 3pm/4pm
Late shift 2pm/3pm - 10pm.
9 hour sleepover rate
