We’re working with a fantastic SEND school in Sunderland that needs someone just like you—a steady, compassionate presence to support pupils with additional needs in and out of the classroom.
Level 2 or 3 TA qualification? Great—but it’s not essential. If you’ve got the right attitude, patience, and willingness to learn, this school wants to meet you.
What you'll be doing:
* Supporting pupils with autism and complex needs
* Helping students access learning and routines
* Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and therapists
* Creating calm, consistent spaces for learning and growth
What you’ll bring:
* Experience working with children or adults with SEND
* A positive, empathetic approach
* Clear communication and natural patience
