The role of Warehouse Technical Coordinator is to bridge the gap between general cargo logistics and technical logistics within a single facility enabling full regulatory compliance that is required to maintain high profile industry licenses to serve global supply chains You will be responsible for looking after a small warehouse of a logistics company with a focus on cold chain operations. Experience working in a similar role with coldchain operations is preferred. Responsibilities & Duties: Electronic Booking in/out freight within company warehouse adhering to company Regulated Agent protocols & working to established SOPs. Warehouse stock control & ordering industry equipment when required & projecting additional orders due to supplier delays. Preparing Temperature chain shipping systems for international transport Conducting performance checks on motorised shipping units 3PL logistics pick & pack for medical equipment’s daily operations Strong communication with Suppliers & Agents Management of cloud based Temp chain monitoring equipment and responding to Alert notifications. Communicating with Operations team agents for shipping details such as pickup times, shipping method, delivery date, and any special requirements. Fully convergent in international shipping label requirements Banding, shrink wrapping large shipping systems fit for airfreight Reviewing shipping documents for all freight for Import & Export to support Operations team Maintaining electronic & paper records adhering with industry licence requirements Attending client locations to assist with speciality projects Communicating with Quality team proactively for technical & maintenance issues Scheduling local suppliers for any work required To take a lead in ensuring equipment calibrations are maintained and equipment is maintained and fit for purpose. Ensuring time critical and temperature-controlled cargo is stored at the correct temperature at both airline and within our own facility. Understanding and knowledge of MHRA and Home Office requirements for the storage and handling of medical products
