We are looking for Patient Transport Service (PTS) Ambulance Care Assistants to join our team of non‑emergency ambulance staff in Leeds.

Key responsibilities
* Support patients, their carers and healthcare representatives by safely transporting them to and from healthcare appointments.
* Assist with manual handling tasks, ensuring patient safety during loading, unloading and transfer.
* Drive and visit locations across West Yorkshire and surrounding areas, following the team’s travel schedule.
* Work independently or as part of a double crew to deliver over 900,000 non‑emergency patient journeys across Yorkshire each year.
* Provide courteous, professional care and create a pleasant experience for patients.
Qualifications & requirements
* Full UK manual driving licence.
* Good communication skills across a wide range of people, from patients to healthcare representatives.
* Ability to adapt your approach to meet individual patient needs.
* Experience in manual handling and ability to work under pressure.
