We are seeking a highly skilled Plant Supervisor to oversee our manufacturing operations in the Manufacturing industry. As a Plant Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our employees, managing production equipment, and implementing safety procedures. Your main goal will be to ensure that our manufacturing operations run smoothly and efficiently, while maintaining a safe work environment for all employees. You will be a key member of our team, working closely with other departments to ensure that our production goals are met.
Role and Responsibilities
* Coordinate the daily activities of the production and operation teams
* Delegate production assignments to appropriate teams and personnel
* Place production orders from customers
* Conduct safety audits and implement safety procedures to ensure a safe work environment for all employees
* Manage production equipment and ensure that it is properly maintained and functioning efficiently
* Provide safety training to employees and ensure that they are following OSHA safety regulations
* Oversee manufacturing operations and ensure that production goals are met
* Implement lean manufacturing principles and inventory control to optimize production processes
* Inspect all materials and equipment to detect malfunctions
* Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
Qualifications and Education Requirements
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing supervisory role
* In-depth knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and workplace safety practices
* Proven experience with inventory control and lean manufacturing principles
Compensation
