Job Title: Technical Network Engineer
Location: Birmingham, UK (Hybrid)
Salary: £45k-£50k per annum

Key Responsibilities:
* Troubleshoot and resolve network issues with strong problem-solving skills.
* Provide support for VLANs, static routing, and dynamic routing protocols including OSPF and EIGRP.
* Configure and maintain Spanning-tree Protocol to ensure network reliability.
* Set up and manage site-to-site VPN configurations for secure communication.
* Implement and maintain Access Control List (ACL) rules to enhance network security.
* Administer and optimise DHCP and DNS services for efficient network operations.
* Work with SD-WAN solutions to improve network performance and security.
* Manage firewall solutions, with experience in Meraki and SonicWall being advantageous.
* Support switch infrastructure, with experience in Meraki, HP Aruba, and Zyxel being beneficial.
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience in network infrastructure engineering.
* Strong understanding of networking protocols and configurations.
* Hands-on experience with VLANs, routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP), and Spanning-tree Protocol.
* Knowledge of firewall and network security best practices.
* Familiarity with SD-WAN solutions and site-to-site VPN setup.
* Experience with firewall vendors (Meraki/SonicWall preferred) and switch vendors (Meraki, HP Aruba, Zyxel advantageous).
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
