Job Description
Due to continued growth within the organisation, we are seeking to expand our Design team based in the UK.
Key Responsibilities
* Model, draw, and coordinate mechanical and electrical designs to ensure projects are constructible with minimal rework once site operations begin.
* Attend weekly internal model and design team meetings, as well as project BIM meetings with main contractors.
* Ensure the latest models, drawings, and designs from all stakeholders are being used, and notify engineers and site teams of any updates or revisions.
* Generate Revit models based on senior engineers’ outputs (sketches, calculations, or design software such as Hevacomp, Cymap, DIALux, and Relux).
* Create Revit families where manufacturer files are unavailable.
* Model skids and modules for offsite fabrication and delivery.
* Manage clash detection, reporting, and resolution across disciplines.
* Maintain cloud models and reporting using BIM platforms such as ACC/BIM 360.
* Provide technical assistance to the project team throughout project delivery.
* Integrate point cloud surveys into design workflows.
* Ensure compliance with all project BIM documentation and standards.
* Adhere to all company EHSQ (Environmental, Health, Safety & Quality) policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Skills
* Previous experience with Revit MEP in the construction or building services industry.
* Relevant qualification in BIM or Mechanical/Electrical Engineering preferred.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise professionally and promptly.
