Role Purpose
To provide first-class diagnostic ultrasound scanning services for our clients, ensuring mothers and their families feel informed, comfortable, and reassured throughout their visit. You will use your expertise to produce the best possible images of the baby, communicate findings with compassion, and follow the correct pathways when anomalies are detected.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform diagnostic obstetric ultrasound scans to a high professional standard.
* Deliver exceptional client care, ensuring families are comfortable, well-informed, and reassured.
* Capture clear, high-quality images of the baby using accepted techniques.
* Provide expert reassurance regarding baby development and pregnancy progress.
* Handle sensitive situations with compassion when anomalies are detected, ensuring referral through NHS pathways.
* Collaborate with Scan Assistants and studio teams to create a memorable, positive client experience.
* Uphold the highest health and safety standards, following ALARA principles.
* Maintain HCPC and SOR registrations and commit to ongoing professional development.
* Accurately complete administrative tasks and maintain clear records.
