Tradewind Recruitment is working in partnership with a welcoming secondary school in Northampton that is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join their team as soon as possible. This is a full-time, long-term temporary position, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
The Role:
Teach engaging Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential A-Level teaching, depending on experience)
Plan and deliver creative lessons that meet the needs of mixed-ability learners
Support students' progress and attainment through effective assessment and feedback
Work collaboratively within a supportive and well-established Maths department
Contribute to the wider school community through interventions or enrichment activities
The Ideal Candidate:
Holds QTS/QTLS (or equivalent) with a specialism in Mathematics
Confident teaching the national curriculum, including GCSE preparation
Passionate about making Maths accessible, engaging, and relevant
Committed to helping all students reach their potential
A positive team player who contributes to school life
Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are warmly encouraged to apply, with strong mentoring and induction support available.
