Job Title: Sheet Metal Worker - Hourly Paid (up to £17.07 PH after probation)
Location: Manchester (East)
Responsibilities
* Manufacture and assemble sheet metal components to close tolerances.
* Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
* Follow in-house routing and processes, ensuring the correct calibrated equipment is used.
* Operate and perform key processes such as rubber pressing, hand forming, profiling parts after form, countersinking, wheeling, and rolling.
* Maintain attention to detail, producing consistently high-quality parts.
Essential Requirements
* Time-served Sheet Metal Worker with a strong engineering background (aerospace, pharmaceutical, medical, or other high-quality industries).
* Experience working with thin gauge aluminium.
* Ability to read and understand detailed engineering drawings.
* Commitment to safe working practices and compliance with 5S standards.
Working Hours
Standard hours can be compressed into a four-day working week (36 hours over Monday - Thursday).
Overtime: first 10 hours paid at 1.5x hourly rate, any additional hours at double time.
