Job Description Unfortunately, we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role. This is a fulltime, permanent position, working a flexible 37.5 hour week, Monday – Friday. As a Development Scientist you will support the development of new product formulations providing support to the automated equipment and in line offline analytical equipment. Additionally, the scientist also has the potential to support further automated platforms and health care product development evaluation. Job Responsibilities that you be covering: You will coordinate routine workflows by organising, scheduling and planning requests from multiple client facilities, ensuring smooth progression through automated platforms. You will operate and support automation by reviewing Designs of Experiments, running automated workflows, supporting formulation platforms and ensuring all equipment is pre‑calibrated. You will manage laboratory logistics by overseeing COSHH, safety, sample integrity and timelines, escalating issues promptly and documenting any non‑conformances. You will execute and report testing by running routine automated requests, performing statistical reporting and conducting in‑line/off‑line quality assessments across haircare, fibre and sub‑fibre measurements using a range of analytical techniques. You will maintain documentation and communication by preparing and updating SOPs, reports and protocols, ensuring all records meet quality standards, and keeping clear communication with key client contacts. You will support laboratory operations.
