What you’ll be doing
as a Repair & Maintenance Operative?
As an R&M Operative, you will be responsible for ensuring that all of the work which you undertake is completed to the correct safety and quality standards as directed by the R&M Technician.
What you should bring to the role
1. Previous experience/training in a manual handling environment.
2. You must be able to meet the physical demands of the role with the ability to work outdoors in all weathers.
3. Be competent with IT and be computer literate.
4. Use your initiative and problem-solve where repairs are required.
5. Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical messages in a simple way.
6. Have a can-do, positive attitude, remaining open to new ideas and change.
7. Be self-motivated and confident in completing tasks to the best of your ability.
8. Advantageous if you have a Street works qualification (NRSWA), an EUSR Water Hygiene card, Service Avoidance L2 and/or a First aid qualification, but not essential.

9. Offering a salary up to £28,600 per annum, depending on skills and experience.

11. Full PPE will be provided.
12. Performance Related Pay Plan (PRPP): Max (of salary) = 6%. On target (of salary) = 3%.
