A vacancy has arisen for a full time Admin Assistant at PD Ports within the Bulks Department, offering a salary of £24,839.00.
Location: Cleveland Road, Hartlepool, TS24 0UZ
Working Arrangements: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week, 08:00am – 16:00pm.
The five main things our Admin Assistant will be working on are:
* Data entry into IFS to raise purchase requisitions and purchase orders for all suppliers relating to vessel and non-vessel work.
* Assisting with the completion of Month End Accounts through inputting monthly figures e.g. tonnages, operative/gang hours onto KPI’s.
* Data entry into operational systems and receipting of purchase orders once invoices are received.
* Liaising with shipping agents to collect information on various shipping vessels alongside time sheets and accruals from 3rd party contracting companies.
* Providing administrative support and liaising with colleagues via telecom, email and Teams.
We are seeking someone who:
* Has previous experience using software for finance purposes.
* Has the ability to adapt to alternative systems as well as being familiar and fluent in using Microsoft software.
* Has experience in entering data into programs to raise requisitions and purchase orders relating to vessel and non-vessel work.
