We are seeking a Medical Writer to join our growing team!

Our Medical Education team was established to bring fresh energy to the sector. We are committed to:

What you’ll do:

* Utilize resources to understand the science and product strategy for assigned projects
* Conduct research to support projects, review literature, and analyze market data
* Understand the commercial context and assimilate relevant information under guidance
* Align written work with brand strategic objectives
* Follow ABPI code of conduct, with guidance and training
* Draft clear documents such as manuscripts, posters, abstracts, slide decks, websites, training programs, and reports
* Apply therapy area knowledge to meet communication objectives
* Adapt writing style for different audiences (e.g., healthcare professionals, patients)
* Manage and take ownership of projects
* Ensure quality through proofreading and adherence to processes
* Communicate therapy area knowledge to the team
* Engage confidently with clients, responding promptly to requests
* Contribute to proposals and pitches, including research presentations
* Participate in briefing sessions, clarify timelines, and flag potential issues
* Prioritize tasks, communicate progress, and manage workload effectively
* Lead by example within the editorial team, sharing best practices
* Support colleagues and contribute to team development
* Seek feedback and participate in performance reviews
* Ensure timely completion of deliverables within project budgets and schedules
* Immerse in the medical communications and pharma industries, staying updated on trends

What you should have:

* Experience in medical writing, preferably in an agency setting
* Relevant degree (Masters preferred) in a science subject
* Strong scientific background and quick learner of new therapeutic areas
* Understanding of clinical trials, data presentation, and drug approval processes
* Knowledge of statistical variables and measurement scales in trials
* Attention to detail, enthusiasm for learning, and clear, concise writing skills
* Ability to differentiate strong vs. weak data and to communicate complex concepts effectively
* Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively
* Professional presence, sense of urgency, and client service orientation
* Confidence in managing upward and communicating effectively with managers
* High energy to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially PowerPoint
