Contract: Perm - 30 hours per week 3x 10 hour shifts per week including 2 weekends in 4.
No Split Shifts working between 8am - 6pm

Richmond Village Bede is looking to appoint a new Chef De Partie. The role of the Chef De Partie in this luxury retirement village is a unique blend of culinary skill and lifestyle balance. You'll help us make health happen by:
Catering to residents across the Village which comprises of the care home, catering for serviced suites, villagers who have booked a meal in the Restaurant/Spa or for meals to be taken across to their apartments or for other specific events
Prepare and cook food in accordance with food hygiene regulations
Ensuring that all food is used within the prescribed period, with particular attention paid to perishable (high risk) goods
Helping to maintain a clean and hygienic working area.
Passionate about food, you'll have experience working in a professional kitchen, ideally catering for customers with special dietary requirements. An understanding of health and safety procedures, ideally with an NVQ or equivalent City & Guilds and CIEH Level 2 Food Safety Award or Equivalent. Because we care for vulnerable people, we'll need you to complete a DBS check as part of the recruitment process.
