KS2 Teaching Assistant – North Tyneside
Salary: £444.60 – £475 per week
Hours: Monday to Friday | 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Do you want to support children at a key stage in their education? We’re seeking enthusiastic KS2 Teaching Assistants to join a thriving North Tyneside primary school. This is a chance to help pupils grow in confidence, achieve their goals, and thrive in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support pupils across KS2 with engaging learning activities
2. Deliver 1:1 and small-group interventions, including SEND support
3. Work with teachers to raise attainment and progress
4. Contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom culture
5. Encourage independence, resilience, and self-belief
What We’re Looking For
6. Experience supporting KS2 or primary-aged children
7. Knowledge of SEND and inclusive support strategies
8. A proactive, reliable, and flexible approach
9. Strong teamwork and communication skills
