Salary: £110 - £120 per day (depending on experience)

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a warm, inclusive, and highly supportive primary SEN school in Bury. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a committed team focused on providing outstanding education and care for pupils with a range of needs, including ASC, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and moderate to complex learning difficulties.
The Role:
Supporting pupils aged 4-11 with EHCPs in a classroom or 1:1 setting
Assisting the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities
Supporting emotional regulation and behaviour management strategies
Helping to create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing learning environment
Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and parents to support pupil progress
The Ideal Candidate:
Experience working with children with SEN (in school or care settings)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Calm, caring and resilient under pressure
Understanding of safeguarding responsibilities
Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, TA qualification) - desirable but not essential
