About the role
Higher Level Teaching Assistant (Full Time, Temporary)
Northumberland, Cramlington area
£525 - £575 per week
September 2025 – July 2026
The School and Role
This average sized school in the Cramlington, Northumberland. area is looking to appoint a committed Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) from September 2025 until the end of the academic year, this will be a full time role. The desired Higher Level Teaching Assistant will be working in a full capacity delivering support to the whole school, with a wide range of ability levels. This will include some SEND support as well as intervention support. The role will also include several teaching opportunities while teachers are out on leave, meetings etc. This role would be suitable for both ECTs and experienced Teachers.
Requirements
The desired Higher Level Teaching Assistant will have;
* Experience of working with primary school aged children
* Experience of working with pupils with SEND
* A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
* An ability to work as part of a team
