Junior legal counsel – Real estate

A leading global real estate investment and asset management firm is seeking a commercially focused Junior Legal Counsel (1-4 years PQE) to join its London office. This broad role offers exposure to high-value property transactions, development projects, and strategic asset management.
Reporting directly to the General Counsel, the position is ideal for a qualified lawyer with a strong interest in real estate and a desire to work across the full lifecycle of property investment and development.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support on real estate development projects, including negotiating consultant appointments, contracts, reliance letters, and liaising with external counsel and internal development teams.
2. Assist with investment transactions, including legal due diligence and documentation for acquisitions and disposals of real estate assets.
3. Project manage legal documentation for financing deals, ensuring compliance with lender requirements and coordinating with internal teams and external advisors.
4. Review and negotiate commercial contracts with suppliers and consultants, particularly those related to property operations and hotel assets.
