Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer passionate about creating sustainable solutions? Join Stantec to help address climate, environmental, and efficiency challenges facing our communities.
This is an expression of interest ahead of AMP 8. We are seeking Principal Electrical Engineers to join our teams in the South West and Midlands, with potential bases in Exeter, Bristol, Cardiff, Birmingham, Derby, or Redditch. Your role will involve providing EICA design services for various projects, working closely with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders from concept to detailed design, including feasibility studies and site investigations.
Candidate Profile
* Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Chartered or Incorporated status preferred with several years' experience in EICA design.
* Proficient in technical specifications, control philosophies, EICA schedules, drawings, and reports; capable of developing comprehensive designs.
* Skilled in producing Single Line Diagrams, Cable Diagrams, Network Infrastructure Diagrams, and contributing to multidisciplinary outputs like 3D models and P&ID diagrams.
* Knowledge of DSEAR and its implications for EICA design and installation is advantageous.
* Strong communication skills, with experience delivering technical presentations and participating in workshops, HAZOPs, and ALMs.
* Experience in the Water sector is desirable, but candidates from energy, infrastructure, or environmental sectors are also encouraged to apply.
* Leadership and mentoring abilities for junior engineers are expected.
