Are you a passionate mental health professional seeking a dynamic and rewarding career? We are seeking an energetic and motivated individual to join our established Medway CMHT in North Kent. This post is for experienced mental health nurses who want to make a difference in clinical care by providing specialist mental health advice and education to staff within the team, and by setting, monitoring, and maintaining quality standards of care.
We offer: annual leave allowance starting at 27 days per year (full time) plus Bank Holidays, access to the NHS pension scheme, and eligibility for the Blue Light Card (discount service for the NHS).
Responsibilities
* Lead by example: provide clinical guidance and support to nurses within both programs, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
* Champion quality care: work with Matrons and the Head of Nursing to ensure high-quality clinical practices across MHT and Together Plus.
* Advocate for your team: be a voice for nurses, addressing concerns and ensuring resources are available to succeed.
* Share your expertise: stay up-to-date on best practices in mental health and mentor colleagues through training and knowledge sharing.
* Ensure seamless service: collaborate with the wider team to assess client needs and place them in the most appropriate program (MHT or Together Plus).
* Optimise service flow: identify areas for improvement and work to streamline the client journey through both programs.
* Provide direct care: maintain a small caseload of clients with complex needs, offering them personalised clinical support.

* Strong clinical expertise in mental health nursing (registration required).
