We are a furniture and homeware retailer with a long-standing presence in the UK and a passion for beautiful, practical homes. OKA operates 14 stores across the UK, with an established Interior Design and Trade business, a mail-order service and a thriving website.
Overview
We are recruiting a full-time Store Manager to lead the store team at our Marlow, Buckinghamshire location. The Marlow store offers our curated collection of OKA pieces showcased in seasonal sets in a beautiful Georgian town just outside of London.
Responsibilities
* Store Operations: Organise and execute all general daily activities and operational requirements of the store.
* Proactively motivate and lead the store teams to exceed targets and KPIs.
* Collaborate with Visual Merchandising to maintain exceptional standards of store presentation and organisation.
* Coordinate with Business Leads to ensure smooth operations.
* Customer Service: Role-model exceptional customer service to OKA customers; lead the store teams to deliver high standards of service face-to-face and via phone; establish meaningful relationships with customers through clienteling and loyalty initiatives.
* People and Culture: Maintain a visible presence on the shop floor; recruitment and onboarding of a passionate and dynamic retail team; manage staffing levels, workload and schedule; manage team performance toward revenue targets; provide training and development; foster morale and employee engagement; ensure legal compliance and health and safety; collaborate with Trade, Interior Design and Marketing on campaigns and events; model OKA values and behaviours.

About You
* Experienced retail Store Manager with a proven track record, ideally within a luxury furniture or homeware environment
* Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
* Natural flair for interiors and store merchandising
* Experience and enthusiasm for high-end retail environments
* Extensive selling skills with the ability to motivate others
* Knowledge of the furniture/home furnishings market preferred
* Flexible approach to working hours as the sector demands
* Tenacious, hardworking and reliable
* Strong leadership, management and organisational skills
* Creative, problem-solving spirit
