Job description Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Assistant to join our dynamic finance team. Responsibilities The key responsibilities of this role will include, but not limited to: * Work alongside the Management Accountants to support in the monthly management accounts process * Prepare and post accurate month end journals * Handle bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy * Liaise with the Management Accountants on issues relating to the sales ledger and debt collection * Assisting the Purchase Ledger team, matching invoices with purchase orders, input of invoices and credit notes, reconciling supplier statements, sending remittances and dealing with queries * Provide cover at month end and during team annual leave in purchase ledger and sales ledger functions * Cash posting for bank transactions * Processing expense claims * Assist in preparing documentation and schedules required for internal and external audits * Keep procedure notes up to date so that all processes are fully documented * Supporting with key activity a...
