As an Apprenticeship Tutor in our Employability, Skills and Training Services (EST) team, you’ll play a vital role in shaping high-quality apprenticeship and adult learning programmes that support learners, employers and communities to thrive. You’ll deliver engaging, compliant and learner-focused training across education, leadership and management programmes, helping people build confidence, capability and meaningful career pathways. You’ll be entrusted to: Design, update and deliver Level 3 to Level 6 apprenticeship and commercial programmes in the education sector for non-teaching sector, ensuring alignment with Department for Education (DfE), Ofsted and awarding body requirements. Tutor and facilitate learning for degree apprenticeships and commercial programmes, both remotely and through face-to-face workshops at Serco locations. Plan, assess and track learner progress, providing timely, high-quality feedback on assignments, presentations and assessments. Develop learning materials and contribute to continuous improvement, working closely with the Continuous Improvement Team, Funding Registry and Governance teams. Provide ongoing online and pastoral support to learners, with a strong focus on safeguarding, wellbeing, health and safety. Build strong relationships with internal teams, peer tutors, employers and partner organisations to support learner progression and programme success. Does this sound like you? You’ll be a great fit for this role if you have… A minimum Level 6 qualification in a Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship for schools, or an equivalent qualification. Proven experience designing and delivering adult vocational and apprenticeship programmes within a regulated quality environment such as Ofsted or awarding bodies. Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage your own workload and adapt in a fast-paced environment. A learner-centred approach, excellent interpersonal skills and the confidence to facilitate, listen actively and respond in the moment. Desirable experience includes a Level 7 qualification, ideally in senior leadership for schools, or working towards this, along with an Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) qualification.
