What you would do as our Facilities and Maintenance Manager
As our Facilities and Maintenance Manager, you will demonstrate strong leadership skills by ensuring a robust safety culture and compliance for the Maintenance team. In this role, you will play a crucial role in restructuring the facilities, plant, and equipment to drive operational improvements and layouts.
You would also:
* Maintain legal compliance and service records, including registers for insurance, water risk assessments, F-Gas, and drawings.
* Keeps maintenance systems updated with new plant information, weekly tasks, and helpdesk logs.
* Coordinate and manage contractors for compliance, servicing, repairs, and alterations (e.g., HVAC, fire alarms, substations).
* Handle work order prioritization, quote collection, purchase requisitions, and contractor scheduling.
* Oversee on-site contractor activities, including RAMs, inductions, and permit-to-work procedures as Person in Charge (PIC).
The skills and experience you need
We are looking for someone who:
* Is experienced in mechanical, electrical, and building services, with a strong background in plant maintenance, reconditioning, and management.
* Is skilled in CAD for creating, modifying, and maintaining up-to-date site and electrical distribution drawings.
* Holds qualifications in Mechanical Engineering Maintenance and Factory Services, including EITB or equivalent certifications.
* Is certified in CAD or holds an equivalent technical qualification.
* Possesses basic CNC programming skills to support mechanical maintenance and engineering tasks.
