Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service management and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role involves supporting the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, service, and cleanliness, while also managing staff and contributing to a positive work environment.
Duties
* Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, including staff supervision and training.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
* Oversee food preparation and presentation to guarantee quality and consistency.
* Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels.
* Utilize POS systems for efficient cash handling and transaction processing.
* Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
* Support budgeting efforts through effective cost management and resource allocation.
* Assist with training and development initiatives to enhance team performance.
* Collaborate with kitchen management to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
* Foster a positive team environment through effective communication and leadership.
Requirements
* Proven experience in restaurant management or as an assistant manager in a quick service or fast food environment.
* Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling practices.
* Familiarity with inventory control processes and budgeting principles.
* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
* Experience with POS systems.
* Strong customer service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
* Previous experience in hospitality management or kitchen management is advantageous.
