The Opportunity
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated attendance and administrator officer to join our Academy.
At St Michael’s CE Academy, we aim to provide all pupils with a high-quality education within a caring Christian environment.
Responsibilities
* Serve as the Academy’s attendance officer, liaising with the educational welfare officer and providing attendance reports as required.
* Undertake home visits to support pupils and families and accompany pupils to school, where necessary (in pairs; successful candidates must be able to drive).
* Act as the administrator of the Single Central Record, ensuring it is up to date and efficiently maintained.
* Support the School’s commitment to safeguarding children and promoting their welfare.
* Maintain compliance with policies and procedures relating to health and safety, security, confidentiality, and data protection, reporting concerns to the appropriate person.
* Operate school information management systems, updating data and producing statistical information as required.
* Participate in training and other learning activities and performance development as required.
* Attend and participate in meetings as required.
* Provide a professional reception and front‑of‑house service to school visitors.
