A charitable organisation, who make a meaningful impact every day supporting people with disabilities, currently seeking a proactive and experienced HR Business Partner to join them on a part-time basis (21 hours a week), for a 6-month maternity cover. (Potential for something longer term/permanent).

The Role
As HR Business Partner, you'll lead a small, high-performing HR team and work closely with the CEO to deliver strategic and operational HR initiatives. You'll play a key role in employee relations, safeguarding, data analysis, and HR projects that drive organisational effectiveness and engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leadership & Team Management: Coach and support the HR team to deliver a people-focused service.
* Employee Relations: Advise on performance, grievance, disciplinary and capability cases, ensuring compliance with employment law and safeguarding standards.
* HR Projects & Data: Lead HR initiatives, manage HR data integrity, and provide insights to senior leadership.
* Safeguarding & Compliance: Act as a key contact for safeguarding queries and ensure alignment with legislation.
* People Strategy & Culture: Partner with leaders to embed a culture of engagement, wellbeing, and inclusion.
* Stakeholder Management: Build trusted relationships across the organisation and with external partners.
About You
Essential:
* Proven HR generalist or business partnering experience
* Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
* Experience managing ER cases and safeguarding processes
* Confident leading a small competent HR team
* Excellent communication and influencing skills
* Data literate with HR systems experience
* CIPD Level 5 or equivalent
Desirable:
* Experience in charity, public, or not-for-profit sectors
* Knowledge of safeguarding frameworks
* HR project experience involving data and analysis
