Amazon is looking to hire an experienced, innovative, hands-on, and customer-obsessed Field and Design Engineer that can drive expansion in our Last Mile Delivery network. As a member of the Japan Amazon Logistics Engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the physical launch of new delivery station launches and physical modifications to existing stations.
You will own the planning and implement the construction milestones and budget for new launch site and existing site modification with coordination of external and internal stakeholders, and will grow to lead the design, optimization of Delivery station layout, Material Handling Equipment and Construction project management of our existing and future Logistics network.

- Project management of the new launch of several types of Delivery stations leading the development of design, project milestones and budget estimation to secure the target launch schedule.
- Existing Delivery station infrastructure modification/upgrade project management to improve safety/productivity/capacity.

- 5+ years of industrial engineer, operations engineer, manufacturing engineer, or project engineer in a manufacturing environment experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, management, or technology
- Business-level proficiency in speaking, listening, and writing in both Japanese and English.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, VBA, and SQL at the intermediate level
- Experience working with and managing third party vendors
