What You Will Do
As a Systems Engineer at Johnson Controls, your primary responsibility is to provide exceptional engineering services to customers across system maintenance and service delivery for CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Alarm systems. You will ensure that all work meets or exceeds customer expectations and that Johnson Controls is seen as a trusted partner in delivering world‑class engineering solutions.
In this role you will take full ownership of all engineering service activities, including planned and preventive maintenance and responding to technical call‑outs. You will coordinate smoothly between internal teams and customers, maintain excellent communication, and keep accurate paperwork and billing records. Working with the Services and Maintenance Team, you will support the team by offering expertise when responding to technical faults, while collaborating with new and existing customers to maintain, optimise and enhance their systems. You will also participate in the on‑call rota to provide 24/7 engineering support.
How You Will Do It
* Collaborate with customers, project management teams and internal stakeholders to develop and deliver system requirements and solutions.
* Manage system maintenance tasks and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure.
* Ensure that solutions and services meet or exceed customer expectations.
* Complete all project and service‑related documentation to meet business timelines and operational standards.
* Adhere to Johnson Controls’ procedures and Health & Safety policies.
What We’re Looking For
* Strong experience in integrated enterprise‑level systems, including: CCTV, Intruder Alarm Systems, Perimeter Detection, Access Control, Video Intercom Systems.
* Hands‑on experience with technologies such as: Genetec, Gallagher, Milestone, FLIR Latitude, ProWatch and Commend.
* Experience with high‑end CCTV cameras (Bosch, Axis, optical/thermal imaging).
* Experience with Grade 3 Intruder Alarm installations (Galaxy, Texecom and peripherals).
* Familiarity with Senstar Omnitrax/Fibre Patrol and Fibre Optic systems (desirable but not essential).
* Excellent communication skills, both internally and externally with customers.
* Self‑driven, enthusiastic and able to work independently.
* Professional demeanour and customer‑centric approach.
