Position: Commercial Finance Executive Location: Head Office, Lisburn Job Type: Full time, 37.5 hours Monday - Friday. Key Responsibilities: • Analyse commercial proposals and complete profitability checks • Analyse contractual agreements and quotes ensuring company policy on profitability is adhered to • Assist with analysis on any price amendments or changes and inform of findings • Maintaining pricing within the system • Assist in calculation of customer rebates and month end accruals of rebates. • Set up customer accounts in line with company policy and logging all contracts including database management • Assisting in the analysis of gross margin reporting • Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and commercial performance reports • Reconcile key financial data, including revenue and costs reports • Assist in financial audits and internal controls • General other financial tasks Detail: Contracts • Responsible for logging of contracts • Correctly record all key details as required • Ensure that the overall standard of documentation received from Field Sales adheres to the company standards and policies and gain authorisation on all agreed contracts. • Set up of customer accounts in D365 Pricing and Administration: • Assisting with implementation and monitoring of price increases • Updating pricing within D365 ensure pricing linked to customer accounts • Support Sales Team with analysis, quotes and pricing to ensure profitability for the company • Work with Sales Support team in identifying pricing issues • Provide support for pricing analysis and contract profitability General Finance Support • Process supplier invoices in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring proper coding and approvals • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve invoice/payment discrepancies. • Prepare payment runs and ensure adherence to payment terms • Assist management account to maintain supplier records and manage onboarding od new vendors Person Specification Education / Qualifications / Training: • Educated to degree level Finance, Accounting or business • AAT or equivalent Experience: Essential • Experience in a finance, accounting or commercial role (1-2 years preferred) • Strong attention to detail and excel skills Desirable: • Studying towards AAT, CIMA, ACCA or similar qualification • Experience using ERP accounting system (e.g.: Dynamics D365, SAP, Sage, Oracle) • Finance awareness and understanding of business operations Skills / Knowledge: Essential: • Competent in all Microsoft Office packages, specifically Outlook, Excel and Word • Excellent communication skills for presentation of information both verbally and in written format to all levels • Able to use own initiative to plan workload • Organised, methodical and logical approach to routine Personal Attributes: • Attention to detail to evidence accuracy in all work produced and complete/follow through on all tasks • Good team player • Highly analytical and numerate • Works well under pressure • Hands on and a proactive attitude Desirable: • Knowledge of and experience in using D365 Personal Attributes: • Highly proactive and analytical • Develops strong and influential business relationships • Assertive • Has own initiative to complete tasks • Punctual • High attention to detail Application If this sounds like you, then you could be the right fit for us!
