Finance Manager - Insurance Broker - London (Hybrid) - £80,000 - £90,000 + bonus and benefits
Your new companyA well-established organisation with a strong presence in the insurance and financial services sector is looking for a commercially minded Finance Manager to join one of its fast-growing divisions. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-growth area and play a key role in driving the team forwards as the business continues to grow and expand.Your new roleWorking as part of the central finance team, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality financial reporting and control across the European region. This position is ideal for a qualified accountant who thrives in a fast-paced, international environment.Key responsibilities include:
* Managing multi-currency accounting across several European entities
* Leading and supporting month-end close, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
* Maintaining strong SOX, financial controls and compliance frameworks
* Preparing reconciliations, journals and variance analysis to support local teams
* Acting as a trusted partner to local finance teams across Europe, providing guidance, resolving queries and ensuring standardisation of processes.
* Supporting regional audits and driving improvements in reporting quality
* Contributing to ongoing transformation and efficiency projects
What you'll need to succeed
* Qualified Accountant (practice background preferred) with post-qualification experience in industry
* Experience within insurance, financial services, or another highly regulated sector
* Strong understanding of multi-currency ledgers and consolidations
* Solid month-end process experience with strong attention to detail
* Exposure to SOX, controls or compliance frameworks
* Excellent communication skills and the confidence to liaise with teams across Europe
* Ability to work independently and manage competing deadlines
