Overview
Being a Systems Engineer means you're part of a team dedicated to supporting and improving the Tusker IT environment. The Tusker IT environment can be divided into the following parts:
* Production web infrastructure
* Pre‑production web infrastructure
* Office infrastructure
* Office desktop support
The focus of this role will be to support and improve the office infrastructure and office desktop support.
Responsibilities
* Desktop support including building both Windows machines and Macs, troubleshooting user issues, supporting MS Office products, creating, managing and deleting user accounts across all systems as required, using Active Directory and 3rd‑party systems such as Salesforce and NetSuite.
* Administer DUO for two‑factor authentication.
* Printer support, resolve errors and issues onsite.
* Providing email support and patching for desktop and laptop builds.
* Networking – setting VPN access and solving issues experienced by existing VPN users, and supporting the office Wi‑Fi.
* Telephony – supporting the Tusker softphone system, Tusker call centre software, including IVR setup, and mobile phones (Android and iOS, Apple).
* Maintain the office backup routine and the office CCTV and entry system (fob and biometrics).
* Escalation point, tackling higher‑level technical issues, supporting new projects related to support and completing subject access requests.
Qualifications & Experience
* Previous desktop support or any IT relevant role.
* Experience with programmes such as Five9, Endpoint Central, Salesforce, Active Directory, Mimecast, DUO, Meraki, Office 365.
* Can‑do attitude, excellent communication skills, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
The role is office based at our Watford site, with a blend of fully remote and hybrid working practices expected to continue.
