We are delighted to be partnering with a leading Scottish firm that is looking to appoint a Data Protection Lawyer to join its established commercial & regulatory team in Glasgow. This is an excellent opportunity for an NQ–3 PQE solicitor who is passionate about privacy, data regulation, and emerging tech.
The Role
This role offers exposure to a broad range of high-quality work, including:
* Advising clients on UK GDPR, Data Protection Act 2018 and PECR compliance
* Drafting and negotiating data processing and data sharing agreements
* Supporting on data breach management and incident response
* Advising on information governance and records management
* Supporting wider commercial and technology workstreams as required
* Working with clients across sectors such as technology, energy, public sector, finance and healthcare
You’ll work closely with experienced specialists while enjoying autonomy to develop your own client relationships.
Applicants will ideally be circa NQ – 3 Yrs PQE and whilst data protection would be advantageous it is not essential as consideration will be given to applicants with a commercial background who can demonstrate a genuine interest in data protection.
The firms offers a friendly & collaborative working environment & hybrid working. Salary will be dependant on experience and is in line with legal market rates.
