We are working with a top Scottish law firm who are seeking a Senior Associate Solicitor to join their Planning & Environment team within their Edinburgh office.
The successful candidate will join an esteemed Planning practice, working on a broad spectrum of contentious and non‑contentious planning and environment matters. The candidate’s duties will include advising on strategic and local development plan processes, submission of planning applications, reviewing Environmental Impact Assessments and Habitats Regulation Assessments, judicial reviews and challenges, and supporting clients in planning and enforcement appeals.
The candidate’s work will span across key sectors, such as renewable energy, housebuilding, retail & leisure, and major commercial development, supporting clients on a variety of planning matters. The candidate will also demonstrate a willingness to participate in business development initiatives while managing client relationships.
* 4+ PQE
* Strong background in planning and environment within a medium to large commercial firm
