Our opportunity
We are looking for an experienced PR and Communications professional to join BAFTA as Head of PR and Communications.
You will be responsible for driving positive media engagement with all of BAFTA's work - from our high-profile Film, Games and TV Awards; industry and member events; talent development programmes, Young BAFTA competitions, and more.
This role requires excellent media management skills and will suit someone with established relationships with screen industry, media and arts journalists.
You will have significant experience of and proven ability to identify, plan for and manage reputational risk for high-profile brands/organisations.

Who you are
Strong track record delivering strategic, creative PR campaigns across screen, media, arts or culture, and managing high-profile reputational and crisis issues.
Excellent national and trade press relationships, with proven skill in securing positive coverage and handling complex media enquiries.
Experience leading major events (e.g. awards, premieres) and working confidently with senior stakeholders, talent, and PR agencies.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear messaging, reactive statements, media plans, and compelling briefs.
Demonstrated leadership experience, including line management, team development, and contributing at a senior level within a communications team.
