Storage & Disassembly Manager – Teesside International Airport
Willis Aviation Services Limited is seeking an experienced Storage & Disassembly Manager to lead our aircraft storage, preservation, disassembly, teardown, and asset recovery operations.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in managing aircraft end‑of‑life programmes, maximising asset recovery value, and ensuring the safe and compliant delivery of storage and teardown projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead aircraft storage, preservation, disassembly and teardown activities.
* Manage aircraft end‑of‑life projects from induction through to final disposition.
* Oversee component recovery, inventory control, traceability and asset management.
* Ensure compliance with aviation regulations, quality standards and company procedures.
* Drive safety, environmental compliance and operational excellence across all activities.
* Lead and develop multidisciplinary teams including technicians, planners, logistics personnel and contractors.
* Monitor project performance, budgets, recovery targets and operational KPIs.
* Collaborate with customers, lessors, suppliers and internal stakeholders to deliver successful projects.
About You
* Significant experience within aircraft maintenance, storage, teardown, disassembly, MRO or asset management environments.
* Previous leadership or management experience.
* Strong understanding of aircraft systems, maintenance practices and technical documentation.
* Knowledge of aviation regulatory requirements and aircraft records management.
* Excellent organisational, communication and project management skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects within a fast‑paced operational environment.
