Job Description:
Due to our continued growth, we are recruiting for a Training Project Engineer to join the Engineering Training department. Within this job role, we are looking for someone who has experience in aircraft engineering and in a project delivery role. We are looking for someone who will promote training and be an ambassador to support the highest standards that we already maintain to the company.
Responsible for:
1. Ensuring the review and handling of defects and serviceability of training devices; working with maintenance support to ensure they are correctly maintained and remain operational
2. All projects delegated by the training management team across Part 145, 147 training
3. Procurement of training materials and resources
4. Working with the training management on any future training facility improvements
5. Preparing and managing all Purchase Orders for the Training Department and liaising with Suppliers to ensure delivery of the material
6. Managing any helpdesk queries applicable to role
7. Any other business duties as required in role by the Training Manager
Requirements:

* Must hold a relevant degree (Aerospace Engineering) or have evidence of previous employment in aircraft technical training
* Must have prior relevant experience in a project management, delivery and/or lead role
* Must be conversant with EASA regulations primarily and ensure regular review of all procedures/regulations
* Prior experience in aircraft engineering, advantageous
* Strong capability to demonstrate a "hands-on" attitude
* A keen eye for detail and ability to escalate issues to the management team
* Ability to plan and work to deadlines laid out by the management teams
* Good working knowledge of Office 365, and keen to learn new programs/software tools to enhance working ways
* Ability to scrutinize and supply constructive critique where non-compliance may be found to the management team
* Be an effective communicator and interact with the team through all types of communication (verbal, face-to-face, virtual)
* Applicants must be open-minded, eager to learn new skills and bring new ideas to the team
* Must have a strong work ethic and show responsibility for their own work and completion in a timely manner
* Must be flexible and able to adapt to change quickly
* Ability to seek and find solutions and address them to the management team
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Must hold a valid UK/EU passport and be willing to travel where the business requires (up to 40%)
