Job Summary

CJ Sheeran is Ireland's largest manufacturer and recycler of timber packaging and pallets, providing a premium quality, sustainable and accredited packaging solution to Ireland and the UK's diverse network of pallet consumers.

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive individual to join our team in Causeway Pallets, Ballymoney, Co Antrim as an Office & Warehouse Administrator. This role combines customs and warehouse administration with a strong focus on Health & Safety compliance. The sucessful candidate will play a key part in keeping operations running smoothly, ensuring compliance, and supporting day-to-day office activities.

Key Responsibilities

Health & Safety

* Maintain & Update all company Health & Safety policies and procedures
* Complete required Health and Safety paperwork on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
* Support compliance with all legislative and company standards

Customs and Logistics

* Prepare and manage customs documentation for all loads between UK/NI and UK/ROI
* Manage PODs (Proof of Delivery) - check, scan, file correctly into the transport system, and follow up on outstanding PODs
* Produce delivery dockets for pallet deliveries and send daily reports to central location
* Proactively follow up on outstanding PODs to ensure records are accurate and up to date

Warehouse Administration

* Accurately record amd monitor goods in & out
* Verify stock entering the warehouses and pick orders for dispatch
* Generate paperwork for all incoming and outgoing stock
* Conduct regular stock takes, reconciliations and ensure accurate records are maintained
* Oversee warehouse standards to ensure a clean, safe and efficient working environment

General Office Suppport

* Handle incoming phone calls and provide customer support as required
* Assist with general administrative duties to support the wider team
* Participation in ongoing training and development
* Assist in other departments as needed, offering flexibility to support the business's evolving needs

Requirements

* Previous experience in logistics, warehousing or administration (desirable but not essential)
* Knowledge of customs clearance processes (training can be provided)
* Strong organisational and multitasking skills
* Excellent attention to detail and accurracy
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and general IT systems

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: 40 per week
