Owen Reed is looking for a Document Production Technician for a top law firm.
Shift: Midnight Shift, Monday – Friday (01:00 – 09:00)
Location: Initially home-based, with potential office transition in future
Contract: Permanent

We are seeking an experienced Document Production Technician who is confident working outside standard business hours. You will join a motivated and supportive team, producing high-quality legal documentation with speed and accuracy. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently and delivering consistent, polished work during overnight hours.
Key Responsibilities
* Produce, format and amend lengthy and complex legal documents in line with house style
* Proofread and check all work for spelling, grammar, layout, consistency and presentation
* Troubleshoot formatting issues, problem documents and corrupted files
* Respond to queries and requests in a professional, timely manner
* Ensure clear and accurate handover to the daytime team
* Share best practice tips and contribute to continuous improvement across the team
* Support occasional shift adjustments for training or team meetings (with notice)
Skills & Experience Required
* Previous document production experience within a professional services environment
* Typing speed of 65 wpm+, confident in copy and audio typing
* Advanced user of MS Word, with strong skills in PowerPoint, Excel and Visio (2016)
* Experience using PDF Docs, Adobe Pro and DocXTools
* Strong track record in resolving formatting issues and working with large/complex documents
* High level of attention to detail, accuracy and finishing quality
* MOS Word Expert qualification desirable (or willingness to work towards)
