Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team at Doveleigh Care Limited on a full or part time basis. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our residents, contributing to their overall comfort and well-being.
Responsibilities
* To follow daily cleaning schedules as designed to suit the needs of the Home
* To follow requirements to undertake some tasks less frequently, eg. spring cleaning of vacated rooms, washing of paintwork
* To be alert to taking initiative where necessary to ensure that the Home is maintained to a very high standard of cleanliness and comfort at all times
* Perform general cleaning tasks to ensure all rooms and communal areas are kept clean and tidy
* Change bed linen and towels regularly
* Dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and cleaning surfaces
* Ensure all areas meet hygiene standards
* Assist with laundry duties when required
* Basic cooking tasks such as preparing simple meals or snacks
Requirements
* Previous experience in housekeeping or commercial cleaning preferred.
* Strong customer service skills to interact positively with residents and staff.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
