Job Title: System Engineer—Elux OS Engineer
Location: UK Based Hybrid (2-3 days from Sheffield)
As a System Engineer, you’ll develop, optimize, and support the Elux operating system with a focus on performance and integration. You’ll work on SCOUT for system monitoring and predictive maintenance, help design the virtual desktop setup, and ensure compatibility with Windows 11 for a seamless user experience. The role involves close collaboration with engineering, UX, and IT teams to enhance the overall Elux platform..
Required Skills and Experience:
* Strong experience to Lead and support the deployment, and management of Elux-based systems and devices.
* Hands-on experience with Microsoft stack – specifically Windows 11 deployment and management
* Experience with Jenkins, Ansible, and PowerShell for infrastructure automation
* Working knowledge of Citrix desktops, Citrix session management, and Citrix delivery groups
* Proficient in VMware administration and virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI)
* Exposure to risk management and remediation activities in enterprise IT environments
* Experience in solution design and deployments at scale
* Familiarity with Scout or Scout Management System (preferred)
* Knowledge of Windows 365 / Cloud PC environment (desirable)
