Part-Time Customer Account Coordinator
Salary: £26,000 – £27,000 pro-rata (30 hours per week – flexible between 8:30am and 5pm)
Location: St Ives, Cambridgeshire PE27
Are you passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and looking for a part-time role with long-term potential? We are proud to be working with a well-established, award-winning manufacturer based in St Ives, Cambridgeshire, that produce bespoke engineered products for customers across the globe. As this business continues to grow, they’re seeking a dedicated Customer Account Coordinator to join a friendly, collaborative team. In this role, you’ll support internal departments and external customers, helping to drive efficiency, identify improvements, and maintain the high standard of service we’re known for. Working alongside the Sales Office Manager and wider international team, you’ll play a key role in order processing, global shipping coordination, and account management.
Key Responsibilities
* Delivering professional, friendly customer support to both internal teams and external clients
* Managing and nurturing relationships with UK and international distributors and direct customers
* Proactively following up on quotes and ensuring customer satisfaction
* Handling inbound enquiries via phone and email with efficiency and accuracy
* Processing quotes and orders using the company’s ERP system
* Coordinating with the production team to ensure on-time delivery
* Organising global shipments and managing export documentation
* Identifying opportunities for process improvements and enhanced customer service
About You
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a customer service or account coordination role, ideally within manufacturing or a similar environment
* Strong communicator who enjoys building lasting customer relationships
* Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
* Experience using ERP/CRM systems such as SAP, Salesforce, or Epicor
* Confident using MS Office, able to multi-task and adapt quickly to changing priorities
* A proactive problem-solver with a positive, team-oriented mindset
